On Wednesday 12 September 2018, under the auspices of the Department of Ecology and Public Space of the City of Liberec, the second year of the Great Child Waste Day took place. The event was held in the central park above Market Square, with the participation of the ASEKOL collective scheme.
Both, children and adults were explained, why it is important to sort out, how waste is sorted, and what can be re-produced with this waste. For children, a whole range of games and competitions were prepared to take some of the little things home. There were also fun amusements for the bouncy castle and a large inflatable slide. Many fans have specially crafted “junkies”, or simple pedal cars made from discarded trash cans or face painting.
