The City of Prague hosts a series of information and educational events for public events in different city districts to celebrate the Day of the Earth Day. Prague 6 has chosen for several years Obora Hvězda.

24th April, from 9 pm till 5 am, information stands were organized in Obora Hvězda and there was a rich program for adults and children. Various information materials on waste management, water management, nature and landscape conservation, sustainable transport and energy, and more were available. Children can try recycling, play domino, sort WEEE, learn how to save energy at home, what a water track and how to use heated water. A rich program for children and adults was prepared by the Environmental Protection Department of Prague Ctity Hall in cooperation with the ASEKOL a.s. and other collective systems.
