Within the framework of the Prague project in Red, held under the auspices of the Prague City Hall. Prague, the organizer of the project ASEKOL announces the winners between the city districts of Prague in the collection of small electrics into red containers. The gathering event supports the proper sorting of retired electrical equipment in Prague, and the ceremonial announcement of the event will take place on 23 June in Žluté lázně.

“In the regions, we support the selection of the retired electrique through the ACTIVNÍ OBEC. We would also like to support the recycling of retired electrical appliances in Prague and inform citizens about red containers, “explains the essence of the event, Dana Ducheckova, spokesman for the not-for-profit company ASEKOL. “You can find your nearest red container, including the information it contains, at www.cervenekontejnery.cz,” adds Ducheckova.

The patronage of the project was taken over by the City Hall. City of Prague RNDr. Jana Plamínková, Councilor for the Environment. “We would like to support the project, which combines education and collecting old electric power in Prague with charity,” says Councilor Plamínková. For each kilogram of redundant electrical equipment shipped to red containers, ASEKOL donates CZK 1 to the National Council of Persons with Disabilities in the Czech Republic.

“All city districts of Prague. city ​​of Prague are ranked according to the rate of take-back of redundant electrical equipment in red containers per capita, “says Dana Ducheckova. The most successful city district in the first half of 2018 will be awarded an ASEKOL certificate and a mark of CZK 10,000, which is intended to improve the collection network in the city district.
