ASEKOL works with the school Recykohraní or Clean Up the World programme and as part of our cooperation with this project, children regularly go on excursions to a recycling plant.

The Recykohraní educational project has been running since 2008 and aims to raise awareness among pupils and students about the prevention, sorting and recycling of waste. In addition, the project also gives children practical experience in taking back batteries and used small electrical equipment, such as through these excursions.

During the excursions, pupils have the opportunity to learn more about what happens to end-of-life electrical appliances after they are discarded into the red containers. This experience helps children to better understand how recycling works in practice and also to see that the outputs of the recycling process, or materials, can re-enter the new product manufacturing cycle through recycling! By recycling, we are protecting the environment and conserving natural resources.
