ASEKOL will be launching the second year of the ACTIVE Municipality competition, which is focused on promoting recycling and environmental protection. Compared to the last year, the project will be extended to six months this year. All municipalities that have a red ASEKOL container for small electronic devices can sign in.

Three competition criteria will be scored. The first is the collection yield in red containers, which is used for collection of small remanufactured electronics, the second is the promotion of take-back of WEEE and the third takes into account the increase in the average yield of collection in red containers per capita. Those interested in participating must send a registration e-mail to [email protected] overall winner, the municipality with the highest number of points, receives financial support of CZK 20,000 to improve its waste management system.
