The project Recycling Games or Let´s Clean Up the World for more than ten years, supports environmental education at nursery, elementary and secondary schools. With the support of the State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic, there are a number of different activities focused mainly on the education of pupils and students; the development of knowledge through teaching, practical exercises, excursions, but also the motivation to actively collect small electrical equipment. Recycling Games Project, or Let's Clear Up the World, however, also appreciates the teachers, as personal motivation and active attitude to environmental issues are of utmost importance to educators. ASEKOL is proud to be a founder of this project.

The ECO-teacher of the year was held since last September, a festive evaluation was held at the beginning of June this year in Jihlava. “This year’s ECO-teacher of the Year competition brought a nice surprise. The victory has just scored two pedagogues. After evaluating very carefully, the evaluation committee found all their projects and suggestions so interesting and motivating for other teachers that they shared the main prize equally between two teachers and their schools, “explained Hana Ansorgová, director of the Recycling Games Project.

Tamara Hubková, a teacher at the Primary School and the Lom Kindergarten in the Ústí nad Labem Region, and Eva Veselá from the Primary and Primary School of Červená Voda from the Pardubice Region ranked first. Thanks to the winnings, the winning schools distributed a prize of 20,000 crowns. At the same time both teachers received the ECO- teacher certification. “The certificate will be obtained by all teachers who meet the competition criteria. Their projects are consequently an inspiration for other teachers and pedagogical staff who are engaged in environmental education or leisure activities with children.
