World Recycling Day: ASEKOL reminds us of the importance of sorting our end-of-life appliances ♻️
18. 3. 2025
Today is dedicated to recycling and sustainable waste management. The ASEKOL compliance scheme, which has specialised in the take-back of electrical equipment for almost 20 years, reminds us how important it is to properly sort and process electrical waste. Since its inception, ASEKOL has handed over more than 495,000 tons of electrical appliances for recycling!
Recycling e-waste protects nature and valuable raw materials.
Old mobile phones, laptops, televisions or small electronics contain materials that can be reused. By properly sorting and ecologically recycling e-waste, we help to protect nature, save natural resources and minimise the environmental impact of e-waste.
“Our efficient collection system enables us to significantly reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills, play a part in the circular economy and promote sustainability,” adds Daniel Šafář, ASEKOL Sales and Marketing Director.
Where to take your end-of-life electrical appliances?
You can place your e-waste in the red ASEKOL containers located throughout the Czech Republic, at collection yards and at thousands of other collection points. A list of all collection points is available at www.asekol.cz/sberna-mista
ASEKOL would like to thank everyone who actively sorts their e-waste and helps to protect the environment.
